MCS participated in a multi-agency Lessons Learned Workshop hosted by the Kern County Fire Department in Bakersfield, CA.
We had the honor of co-presenting with survivors turned teachers (thrivers) of the 1993 Glen Allen and 2001 Thirtymile fatality fires. Our presentation on Mission command was followed by Thom Taylor, USFS and Marshall Brown USFS (Ret) on Thirtymile and Gabe Larios, Roy Rodriguez and Mark Collet, all from LA County Fire, on Glen Allen.
Incredible experiences and lessons shared. These guys lead by example!
