The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recently awarded a contract to Mission-Centered Solutions, Inc. and AE Strageties, LLC, (AES) to develop and implement a process to assess applicants for the Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) Pilot Program. MCS and AES will help create the assessment process for selecting IMAT members.
FEMA is launching this program to strengthen and deepen its IMAT capability in wake of Sandy. Applicants selected in this assessment process will fill positions on three new IMATs: two Type I National Teams and one Type II Regional Team. The assessment will occur in mid-March in Anniston, Alabama.
