MCS recently revised “Leadership and Team Dynamics,” Unit 2 of the updated O-305: USFA Type 3 Incident Management Team. Highlights of the course revision, released in February 2012, include a reorganization of topics to reduce redundancy and increase efficiency.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded the contract for the course revision to ICF International, which selected MCS as its development consultant. Involving MCS in the revision ensured that the new program complements and is aligned with the existing National Wildland Coordinating Group (NWCG) leadership curriculum.
The U.S. Fire Administration, an entity of the DHS Federal Emergency Management Agency, has authorized MCS as a turn-key provider this program.
